Fort Myers Plans to Expand Green Spaces Soon

Staff Report / FMlocal.org

The City of Fort Myers is working on plans to increase green spaces throughout the area. This initiative is part of the City's General Obligation (GO) Bond and Parks Master Plan, which aims to enhance parks and outdoor venues.

The improvements are designed to provide more recreational opportunities for residents, enhance community engagement, and offer long-term benefits for all citizens. Residents interested in learning more about these enhancements can visit the City’s webpage for information about the GO Bond.

Additionally, City leaders are available to present information directly to groups of 10 or more people upon request. More details can be found at the City’s official site: https://www.cityftmyers.com/2278/2024-GO-Bond.
