Middle Schools Embrace New Seven-Period Schedule

This year, middle schools in Lee County have implemented a new seven-period schedule. According to a recent episode of the LEE SCHOOLS TV podcast, hosted by Rob Spicker, this shift is positively affecting both students and staff.

In the episode, Spicker interviews David Howdyshell, the principal of Oak Hammock Middle School. Howdyshell discusses the benefits of the new schedule, which includes more consistent class time and improved support for teachers. The changes aim to enhance the overall educational experience in middle schools across the district.
