**Food Drive Kicking Off in Fort Myers**

The City of Fort Myers Fire Department is partnering with Community Cooperative for a food drive from October 28th to November 16th. Residents are encouraged to drop off canned and non-perishable food items at any of the eight fire stations located around the city.

Donations can be made at the following fire stations:

- Station 11: 2033 Jackson Street

- Station 12: 1035 Terry Street

- Station 13: 1915 Jefferson Avenue

- Station 14: 4520 Cummins Court

- Station 15: 9700 Treeline Avenue

- Station 16: 4000 Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard

- Station 17: 11000 Ben C Pratt Six Mile Cypress

- Station 19: 11631 Palomino Lane

As an added incentive, the fire department invites the community to a special event at Fire Station 11 on November 16th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation. The event will feature photo opportunities with Sparky, fire truck tours, and a chance to meet firefighters. Free coloring books, helmets, and more will be provided for children.

This initiative aims to support families in need during the holiday season.
