This gathering was part of the annual "Florida Crunch" event, which aims to promote awareness of Florida-grown produce and healthy eating. The event is organized in collaboration with the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension (UF/IFAS) Family Nutrition Program and the School District of Lee County's Healthy Living Collaboration.
