**Fort Myers Police Department Honors Veterans This Veterans Day**

The Fort Myers Police Department is highlighting the contributions of two of its own officers who are also military veterans this Veterans Day. Officer W. Beaton and Officer Schilling are recognized for their dedicated service to both the community and their country.

Both officers work diligently to assist individuals in crisis and make a significant effort to connect veterans in need with vital services provided by the Lee County Veterans and Human Services. Their focus includes helping fellow veterans secure necessary resources such as housing, healthcare, and mental health support. Their commitment reflects a strong dedication to ensuring their peers receive the care they require.
