Fort Myers Police Academy Class 122 Graduates Successfully

The Fort Myers Police Department celebrated the graduation of Class 122 of the Citizens Police Academy on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at 5:30 P.M. The event took place at the department's headquarters located at 2210 Hendry Street, Fort Myers, FL.

The Citizens Police Academy is a 10-week program that provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the police department's operations. The program includes interactive demonstrations held on Saturdays, allowing participants to engage with various aspects of law enforcement.

During the graduation ceremony, special recognition was given to Eastwood 77 for providing a meal and hospitality for the event. Former Citizen Police Academy graduate and former Citizen Police Review Board President Steven Brown-Cestero served as the guest speaker.

Class 122 presented various units within the police department with generous gifts as a show of appreciation. The Fort Myers Police Department congratulated all graduates and expressed anticipation for the next Citizens Police Academy class in the near future.
