Johnny Streets, Jr. Receives Liberty Bell Award

On May 4, 2023, Johnny Streets, Jr. received the Liberty Bell Award from the Lee County Bar Association in recognition of his service. The award presentation took place during a City Council meeting in Fort Myers.

Mayor Kevin Anderson and the City Council honored Streets as he prepares to retire. The meeting agenda included several important topics such as improvements around the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, an official announcement regarding the Affordable Home Construction Program, and discussions about a new ordinance on public camping or sleeping near City buildings.

The public was invited to attend the meeting at city hall or watch it live beginning at 4:30 p.m. Additional information on the meeting can be found on the City of Fort Myers website.
