Apex Foundation honors two Felton Grove High School teachers
Apex Foundation in Apex, North Carolina, reports it’s Shoutout Tuesday. This week the organization focuses on two shoutouts at Felton Grove High School.
Mrs. Jessica Flegel is the English II PLC Teacher Leader and Intervention Specialist. She uses data and collaboration to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and empowered to grow. She aligns rigorous instruction and has stepped into AP courses, and she also coaches soccer, fostering resilience and teamwork.
Ms. Jillian Placko is an advocate for students with special needs, creating a classroom rooted in structure, compassion, and individualized support. She ensures her students are not only supported academically and socially, but truly seen, valued, and included across campus.
