Fort Myers Announces Holiday Trash Collection Changes

The City of Fort Myers has announced changes to its trash and recycling collection schedule due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The Solid Waste Division will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, in observance of Thanksgiving, and there will be no trash or recycling collection on that day.

Collections scheduled for Thursday will take place on Friday, November 29th. Similarly, collections that would normally occur on Friday will move to Saturday, November 30th. Regular collection schedules will resume on Monday, December 2nd.

Additionally, the Utility Billing office will be closed on November 28th and 29th. Residents with questions can contact the Solid Waste Division at (239) 321-8050.
