Memorial Service Announced for Deputy Ignacio Diaz

A memorial has been announced for Deputy Ignacio "Dan" Diaz of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, who passed away on November 25, 2024. The badge number for Deputy Diaz was 7637.

The Fort Myers Police Department has expressed their condolences, stating, "We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Deputy Diaz. Our hearts are with all of their families and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office as they continue to process this tragic event."

Flags will be flown at half-staff in honor of Deputy Diaz’s service. Further details regarding the memorial service are expected to be released in the coming days.
