The City of Fort Myers is looking for proposals to conduct a Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) and Stakeholder Preparedness Review (SPR). This effort is meant to improve the city's readiness by pinpointing potential risks, focusing on threats, and building the essential capabilities to handle them. It will help the city make informed plans, allocate resources effectively, and make decisions to tackle the most crucial hazards and risks in its community. The request for proposals was prompted by funds granted to Fort Myers by the Lee Board of County Commissioners through the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding.
