Essentials include clothing, water, flashlights, comfort items, and portable chargers for kids. Pets should have medications, vet paperwork, collars & ID tags, leashes or carriers, favorite toys, and pet food. For seniors, include eyeglasses, medications, medical equipment with extra batteries, a medical ID bracelet, insurance cards, and a contact list. The department emphasizes preparedness for kids, pets, and seniors as part of Florida Preparedness Month 2024.
