Lee County promotes emergency preparedness during Florida Preparedness Month.
Staff Report / FMlocal.org
The Lee County Public Safety Facebook page reminds residents to prepare for emergencies during Florida Preparedness Month. It is recommended to have a disaster supply kit with at least 7 days' worth of supplies, which should include pet supplies, nonperishable food, and batteries. It is important to gather items for each member of the household and include necessary items for pets and livestock. Additionally, crucial items to include are copies of important documents, medications, batteries, and nonperishable food. A complete disaster supply kit checklist can be found at FloridaDisaster.org/Kit. #emergencypreparedness #preparedness #FloridaPreparednessMonthFLORIDA PREPAREDNESS MONTH 2024.
