Fatal Hit-and-Run: Assistance Needed to Locate Vehicle

The Fort Myers Police Department Traffic Unit is requesting assistance from the public in locating a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident. The crash occurred at approximately 10:21 PM on October 8, 2024, at the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and Fowler Street, near the Wawa Gas Station.

The vehicle in question is described as a 4-door red Toyota Tacoma, which is expected to have damage to the front passenger headlight and front passenger bumper. An adult female victim sustained injuries in the incident and later died.
